Valerie is a Research Advisor in Knowledge Leadership at GAIN. She supports the development of strategic research, evaluation and learning efforts, with emphasis on industrial fortification and nutrient-enriched crops across Africa and Asia. She has expertise in programme coverage and impact assessment methods and metrics.
Prior to GAIN, Valerie served on the Micronutrient Forum Secretariat and led various research projects on infant and young child nutrition in Ghana and Ethiopia with McGill University.
Valerie holds a Master of Science degree in Human Nutrition from McGill University and is currently working toward a PhD in Nutrition and Food Science at the University of Montpellier.
