Florencia is a Senior Associate for Food Policy & Finance at GAIN. She foccuses on global Industrial Fortification programmes.

 

Prior to GAIN, she worked at the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation as a Programme Officer for Nutrition, in the Global Development Division.

 

For more than a decade, Florencia’s work has spanned diverse roles in both upstream and downstream international public health research at universities, NGOs, and the donor community, with a focus on countries in Africa, Asia, and Latin America.

 

She is committed to the use of evidence-based solutions to global nutrition challenges and the development of strategic partnerships to achieve global health commitments.

 

Florencia holds a Master’s in International Health, Human Nutrition from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
